The stairway in only shared with the 2nd floor tenants, but you have complete privacy on the 3rd Floor. You are the only one who can access that apartment. There is a lockbox specified within your Check In Instructions containing a key to the front door. Our smart lock system on the 3rd Floor allows you to access the apartment itself by simply entering your private entry code into the keypad to the right of the apartment door. This code is unique to you and will be provided in your Check In Instructions. I give my guests space but am available when needed. This neighborhood is both charming and safe. The streets on your block are lined with locally-owned small businesses, boutique shops and a wide variety of family-owned restaurants. From Mexican food at Raul's, Japanese cuisine at Mikado or top notch Euro-influence dishes at Flight Wine Bar, there is something for every pallet. Most places offer outdoor seating well into the cooler months. (Flight's outdoor seating is even year round.) Located just around the corner, the farmer's market is operational all year round and offers tons of local products. Found at the South Street Pavillion in the warmer weather months and is hosted inside the Cool Insuring Arena (right outside your living room window) in the cold weather months. Local breweries include The Davidson Brothers, Mean Max which are walking distance and Common Roots is just a few minute drive down the road. The Chapman and The Hyde Museums offer guests a wide variety of historic collections of art and artifacts from the area as well as classes. Check out a hockey game or a concert at the Cool Insurance Arena just a block away. Crandall Park is a large, well-known outdoor area that boasts beautiful fishing ponds and walking trails, a playground, athletic fields, pickle-ball and basketball courts as well as a bandshell that hosts many live musicians, fireworks and concerts that are free to the public. *Some, but not all, of the restaurants are closed on Sunday and Monday due to the different impacts that this trying time has had on business. Definitely be sure to check out the hours of the places you're interested in visiting beforehand. Since the apartment is right in the heart of the action, you can walk to nearly every hotspot in town. For something that's a little outside of walking range, such as the Lake George Village or the drive-in movie theater, Uber and Lyft operate here as well. Although you are tucked away in your private third floor retreat, there is still a potential for street noise on the street below, since it is located on a main road. Closing the windows will ensure much a much quieter stay.
