Hot Tub, Pizza Oven, Fire Pit, Large Deck and inside Winter woodfire that keeps the house toasty. Kitchen is well equipped for making meals, luxurious Sheridan linen/ towels included. The space The property feels like a secluded escape but boasts easy access to amenities and popular outdoor activities. Ideal for a family with kids or a group of friends, this getaway being located in the Ruapehu district offers numerous activities. Whether you plan to enjoy the Hot Tub, have fun with using the Pizza Oven, relax with a book admiring the setting, hope to make the most of the scenic walks, canoeing the Whanganui River, mountain biking or in Winter enjoying the popular skiing in the area, you will know you have a cosy space to enjoy. An added bonus, the cottage is located across the road from a working farm with sheep, deer and cattle. We have recently extended the wrap around deck to provide a covered larger deck area with outdoor furniture and outdoor lights. If you do have time the outdoor Pizza oven is a great fun option for making your own gourmet pizzas. A covered entrance area just built provides shelter and plenty of extra space for boots, ski gear, coats and even bikes. Please note on the property are the owners 2 cattle that are harmless but may wander around the house. Also for families with small children there is a pond and stream at the bottom of the property ( great for frog watching and lots of fun catching fresh water crayfish but do make sure your children are safe if very young. ) Numerous puzzles, games and books provided. Internet, TV/Netflix, or DVD are not provided. Please note there is a full modern bathroom in the main cottage but remember to enjoy the wonderful night sky full of stars while soaking in the Hot Tub. A great experience that you don't want to miss. Due to this location in a country area, there are times that mobile phone reception can be intermittent in places depending on your carrier and type of phone. Some service providers offer 100% reception. If you have any concerns about getting there or having phone reception please make contact prior to your arrival so they can be alleviated. Main cottage offers bedroom with Queen size bed, bunk room with 2 sets of bunks and separate single bed. Cottage caters sleeping comfortably 6 people. Separate cabin sleeps 4 comfortably - offers bedroom with Queen size bed and separate room with bunk - double below and on top single size bed.
