Sandcreek Cottage / Fabulous Views on Five Acres

A cozy, secluded, gingerbread cottage set on 5 treed acres in Sleeping Rainbow. Four scenic minutes from Torrey -- a sweet, tree-lined village just 11 gorgeous miles from Capitol Reef NP. Every room has a great view, including the bathrooms! Fully equipped kitchen. Dining table seats 8 plus 4 bar stools. Rock BBQ. Sleeps six: two queen, pillow-top, memory-foam beds, and a set of bunk beds. Large-screen TV in the living room. Wifi and internet/smart TV The space If you're a city dweller, escape the noise, heat and dirty air and enjoy pure spring water, sweet desert air and temperatures that are 10-20 degrees cooler than the city. At 7000 feet elevation, nights are blissfully cool. The house is luxuriously secluded and the quiet can be deafening. Oh, and the stars are amazing -- don't forget to look up at the Milky Way! Torrey is one of few cities in the U.S. that has dark-sky designation. Early evening is magical with changing sunlight on the bluffs. Majestic views of mountains (including the Henry Mountains), red rock cliffs and more peace and quiet than you'll know what to do with. Just two miles from the junction of Scenic Byway 12 -- the road to Boulder, Grand Staircase Escalante, Zion and Bryce. Guest access The entire five acres will be yours during your stay. The house is equipped in almost every possible way. If there's something missing, give us a call and we'll have it there for you in minutes. Other things to note Please be respectful of our neighbors by driving slowly on gravel roads. If you see a dust cloud behind your vehicle, you're probably driving too fast. Our tub/shower is original, we are searching a way to update it. It will clean you but it’s not as good as our view and other comforts of our cottage. We’ll let you know when it’s updated. Hopefully this summer. Also, the shower/bath in our full bathroom is very small and original. We can't update without a whole house remodel :( But it has great water pressure
