Seacroft is a former historic Monastery and Seminary on the Great Ocean Road with stunning 180 degree ocean views of Cape Patton and Apollo Bay. Room 15 - king bed - ocean out the window. Conveniently located on the Great Ocean Road 13 minutes prior to Apollo Bay that has shops, cafes and restaurants. Shared modern toilet and shower facilities. Sleep with the sound of the ocean. Rooms are part of the old monastery where the priests used to live. They are simple, clean and comfortable - please see the photos. All linen is supplied including towels, but please bring your own personal toiletries. We have extensive gardens, a spectacular view and access to the beach over the road. Access to full separate guest kitchen with gas cooking on two large stoves, dishwasher and fridges, large dining room, dining hall and large sun room with table tennis and spectacular views. Complimentary tea for guests. Freshly ground coffee machine for a small fee. I am around most of the day. There is a secluded beach right across the road with amazing volcanic rock pools to explore, swimming holes in the rocks that warm up during the day and a sandy little beach. There is also a spectacular 45 minute walk from Seacroft to the Carisbrook Waterfalls. We are situated in a place of natural beauty. Looking East we have spectacular views of Cape Patton and the State Forest climbing up over the hills. Looking West we have views all the way along the coast to Apollo Bay and beyond. There is a major koala population 5 minutes up the road, a multitude of different birds, echidnas and kangaroos if you are lucky, fishing off the rocks in front, dolphins who regularly visit and whales in the winter! There is an excellent tourist office in Apollo Bay which is 13 minutes away that have free touring maps with walking tracks listed on the back. The tourist office is the first building on the left as you drive into town. Children under 5 are free and you can put them in your bed. All other older children count as an extra person. For families of 3, please select room 2,8 or 11 which have 3 beds. Extra guests in rooms are not possible - only the number advertised is possible.
