Two charming houses inside a beautifull garden.

Just halfway between the beaches and the city center, Villa Santa Bárbara is a private property with two independent houses - Casa Maria, Casa António and Casa Adriana. It was once a typical housing cloister that were called "ilha" or "bairro". The houses are built with old masonry walls and its decoration is based on Portuguese tradition. It is like a secret place just 10 minutes from Porto. The space Just like inside the houses, the environment is very welcoming, romantic, and original. There is an open, very pleasant, unique green area with benches, swimming pool, chairs, fruit trees, an orchid greenhouse and an aromatic herb bed. During the day you can listen and watch the birds. At night, there is a charming lighting system in the whole open space. There are more than 700 square meters that invite you to relax. Inside Casa António there are two sleeping rooms: a private double room and a twin bedroom in an open mezzanine that can host up to four people. Casa Maria has a double room and can host up to two people. All beds have high quality mattresses and bed sheets (Made in Portuguese). Each Casa has a separate kitchen and laundry room, with all cooking appliances except an oven and a dishwasher. Each laundry room contains a washing machine, an iron and board. The bathrooms offer free toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, soap and toilet paper) for the first days of your stay. Replacement hygiene packs are available. Each guest will get high quality white towels, both hand and bath, all made in Portuguese. There is also air conditioning, cable TV and free wi-fi inside the houses and in the whole garden. Each Casa is independent of the other, with no access inside between the two so you can count on maximum privacy, security and quiet. Villa Santa Barbara has a private, gated parking lot with a CCTV system where more than 2 vehicles can fit. Guest access In addition to the house, guests have access to a swimming pool and a spacious 500m2 garden. Indoor parking is also available for light vehicles up to 2.20m tall.
