Likewise, the boat docks from where you have access to the Brissago Islands, Ascona and the opposite Riviera del Gambarogno. Brissago is easily accessible from Locarno by bus and during the season also by boat. The picturesque Ascona and the neighboring border town of Cannobio, where the famous Mercato takes place on Sunday, are only a few kilometers away.
