Peaceful alpine getaway located at the base of Anchorage’s most scenic hiking trailheads. We are within half a mile from Chugach State Park and Prospect Height’s. Minutes away from Hilltop Ski area where our family ski and snowboard. Our family’s favorite camping trail is just up the hill. We like that we live away from the hubbub of all that happens around the city center, but we are just up the hill from South Anchorage and 15 minutes to the airport & 20 mins to downtown. The space Feel right at home in this comfortable, clean mother-in-law apartment with separate self check-in keyless entry. It’s a sweet, private spot that is family friendly with our fully stocked kitchen to provide you with the flexibility of making your own meals and doing laundry when needed. Lots of sun coming in the windows to enjoy the birch trees. A sound machine, diffuser and essential oils are provided to use for your sleeping comfort. Complementary oatmeal, coffee, tea and creamer for your first morning’s stay. This space has also hosted friends of ours who needed wheelchair accessibility. We have a ramp that leads to the front door. We try our best to keep it shoveled during winter but I think the ramp is best during the summer. This is a one level apartment. Front door measures 36 inches, bathroom and bedroom door measures 33 inches wide. All hardwood floor throughout. We also have a small toddler mattress AND twin mattress with extra bedding and sheets in the bedroom closet. Can sleep 4 adults comfortably plus toddler. Guest access Apartment is accessible by guest driveway. It leads to a path to your private entrance to a keyless combination entry. Guests can have access to side yard by the fire pit and hammock. Other things to note We also have a Toyota Highlander 2012 on Turo. Ask us about discounts as a guest. There is no smoking in the house or on the premise, due to HIGH fire danger on the hillside in the summer. No cleaning fish on location. Reservation is for out of town people only....no local guests.
