Cheronissos is an idyllic bay spotted with fishermen boats, a small sandy beach and the beautiful church of Saint Polykarpos. You will find a couple of restaurants, a mini market, a bakery and traditional pottery. At the entrance of the bay there is the dominating monastery of Saint George of Cheronissos. There is also a bus stop a few meters from the house. We would like to inform you that from April to June, there are 2-3 buses available per day from Cheronissos to Apollonia. From July to September, this frequency increases to 4-5 buses per day. Additionally, the mini-market in Cheronissos operates from June to the end of September. To optimize your experience and explore the island comprehensively, we recommend considering the rental of a car or scooter, as this would be an ideal option.
