Our sun -filled cottage is on the outskirts of the busyness of Newport, in an area of farms, vineyards, lots of birds.. yet a 5 minute, lovely coastline drive to all activity-whenever the mood strikes! We have a large deck that beckons you to RELAX! Or a HOT outdoor shower after the beach ;~) Our home has brought rest and relaxation to many a visitor and friend. We welcome you to enjoy it as well! The space Our cottage lies between 2 of the BEST BEACHES- 1 mile from either Sachuest Beach (Second Beach) or 3rd Beach! Or the NEWPORT vineyards, Norman Bird Sanctuary, the Polo matches and Sweet Berry Farm. It is a 2 mile coastline drive to Newport Center, the Cliff Walk, the Tennis Hall of Fame, the Newport Mansions , the many Wharfs/harbors along Thames Street, with shopping marina and Newport restaurants! It offers a wonderful place to REST and relax following a full day of whatever activities bring you to this area! Ocean breezes flow through the house and across the expansive deck. Our PRIVATE outdoor shower, with hot and cold water is a MUST after the beach! Sleeps 4 + room for children under 12. Please note: Guests with at least 2 five star ratings (*****) on Airbnb may book our home instantly. We request that those guests new to Airbnb please communicate with us first, prior to booking our beloved cottage. Thank you! Guest access Loft has access via stairs from BR #2. The loft has a 14" rail (only) ** Will not be suitable for very young children. Older children love it! Parking for 2 cars, INSIDE DRIVEWAY only. Parking on grass or on the street may result in getting a ticket from Middletown police. Other things to note The trundle bed in the 2nd BR can be pulled out to create a king size bed - or left apart for 2 single beds. The outdoor shower has hot and cold running water and is fully enclosed/ private - PERFECT after the beach! The Cottage is FULLY stocked Parking for 2 cars -within driveway only.
