The Akri House Agnondas

“AKRI” is a beautiful cottage situated at the seaside of the fishing village of Agnontas. The house is ten steps from the crystal clear turquoise waters of the gulf, with an incredibly serene view and excellent access to necessities and restaurants with authentic local food. A favourite destination for those who enjoy swimming, sunbathing, sailing, yachting, hiking, cycling, excursions to other superb beaches, etc. The space The coastal cottage "AKRI" (in English: “ΕDGE”) is right on the seafront, on the edge of the beach, in the picturesque fishing village of Agnontas, on the western side of the island of Skopelos. Agnontas is one of the most beautiful fishing villages of the Sporades and a much-loved destination for those who are keen on sampling the authentic local cuisine, swimming into crystal clear turquoise waters and going on excursions in nature. It is also an excellent destination for those seeking a relatively quiet base from which they can set off to explore the rest of the island. Within a radius of just 8 km, in the coastal area, there are seven beautiful beaches. Besides, in less than 10 minutes away by car, taxi or bus, the visitor can wander around the gorgeous amphitheatric town of Skopelos where s/he can admire the traditional architecture of the North Aegean islands and enjoy a lively atmosphere full of shops and open-air cafes and restaurants. The house is set in an idyllic place, at the end of the woodland and the beginning of the beach. The forest trees and the flowers surround the house creating a heavenly atmosphere. The sea view from the courtyard of the house is stunning – particularly during the early mornings and the sunsets. The house is fully renovated and equipped and can comfortably accommodate six people. The main facilities and amenities of the house are: - Three nicely decorated bedrooms (two rooms with double beds and one room with twin beds), each of them has its bathroom, tv and air conditioning. - Fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary amenities. - Barbeque and dining area in the courtyard. - Large patio with a mulberry tree and a linden tree that provide natural shade/coolness. - Ample parking space. The house is literally 10 metres from the sea and 40 from the nearest Tavern. In the village of Agnondas, someone can find: - Restaurants/taverns, - A mini market, - A bus stop [The buses run at regular intervals during summer season] - A port anchorage, & - A chute for boats The owners intend their visitors to feel home. Therefore, they welcome their visitors cordially and show them the house and its amenities. They usually avoid calling over the cottage unless they are asked to do so.
