Situated in the middle of Santiago, the privileged location of EÇA NOW! allows you to easily explore the entire city, whether you are visiting the historic points, typical streets, beaches or just get lost in Vila do Conde. A few meters from the Mother Church and with privileged views over the Santa Clara Monastery and its aqueduct, EÇA NOW! is on Rua da Costa - where the writer Eça de Queirós lived, who inspired the name of this House. In fact, this city is punctuated by the former residences of artists who elected Vila do Conde as a point of inspiration during some phase of their lives: starting with the poet José Régio - a natural of this city and whose museum house can be visited - but also passing by Camilo Castelo Branco, Antero de Quental, Guerra Junqueiro, Rui Belo, to the painters Sonia and Robert Delaunay. Vila do Conde is a calm and safe port for your stay in Northern Portugal, from where you can leave on short trips to visit the main cities, such as Porto – accessible by metro (station 500m), Guimarães, Braga, Viana do Castelo, Caminha or Ponte de Lima. Each room is equipped with a scullery that features an electric kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave. EÇA NOW! offers 5 individually decorated suites, creating for each guest a unique experience. Each one is associated with a novel by Eça de Queirós, and these works can be checked both inside the respective rooms, as well as in the small library located on the entrance floor. They are cozy and bright rooms with panoramic windows where you can relax and enjoy the city view. Other things to note From 1 June 2024 the Municipality of Vila do Conde charges tourist tax that is not included in the value of the stay and must be paid at the time of check-in.
