Comforts of home @ modernly furnished water / canal front home. Take in the beautiful water canal views while relaxing on the expansive outdoor deck. Feel away from it all yet only 15 miles to the Golden Gate Bridge to San Francisco & only 45 miles to Napa Wine Country and 5 minutes to downtown San Rafael w/ its great dining, night life, and shopping! The space Our Marin County harbor home is perfect for your family vacation or traveling business needs. You will feel away from it all in the homes tranquil waterfront setting yet only a few minutes from downtown San Rafael with it's vibrant shops and restaurants, SMART Train, bike trails and Grocery: Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and United Market. This home includes a well appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the kitchen supplies needed to cook up delicious meals. Seating for 8 at the dining table plus seating for additional two at the counter top. An executive desk is available to if you are working from home. Strong Wifi and cell reception. There is a large 800 sq ft outdoor deck that is truly magnificent with Mt Tam and canal water views for dining and leisure. The adjoining Yacht Harbor is private property and not part of the home. A large TV is provided for your enjoyment of all the latest Netflix shows which is mounted in the living room and surrounded by plenty of comfortable seating; which includes a gas fireplace. The entire house is available for you and your groups private use. The Master bedroom includes two comfortable queen beds, ample closet space and a private bath. There is also a sliding door from the bedroom opening to the deck. The 2nd bedroom features a comfortable King bed and comfortable queen floor mattress in the large walk in closet to utilize as needed. There is also a sliding door out to the deck. The entire house is appointed with luxury features alongside a stylish fit and finish. It is the perfect base for your travels between Marin, Wine country (Napa, Sonoma) and San Francisco! Other things to note: Although our home is very private, we ask that you please respect our neighbors with keeping the noise level comfortably low on the deck, more specifically after 10:00 pm. PETS, we do allow for your dog to join for an additional $60 pet fee. Please be sure to list your pet with the guest count. Thank you. Guest access The entire home is all yours, inside and out. There is ample off street parking. One car in the garage, one in front of the garage and two in front of the house. Access the the entire home and deck, including two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, garage, two baths. Other things to note There is no water access from the house. Nearby kayak and paddleboard rentals are available at 101 Sport just a half mile down the road. This is a quiet Marina Neighborhood. Some people live on their boats. On rare occasion, usually on a Holiday, the beautiful Catamaran parked in front of our rear deck, hosts their family. This is not a party house and noise levels on the deck must be respectful. High Tide Warning: The harbor's east and west parking lot's can flood during high tides of over 6'.3' or higher. Please keep a close eye on the tides when you visit. Park closer to the house, in the garage or closer to Point San Pedro Road to avoid water damage to your vehicle when we are having extreme high tides. Please refer to the tide Calendar in the house. (Note: We have never had any damage to guests vehicles over the past 5 years, but the water will come up and kiss your tires:) Thank you.
