Cabin in Blue Hill

Picturesque log cabin in a little meadow surrounded by forest; accessed by easy 5 minute walk along a trail, with electricity, screened porch, and modern comforts. Three min drive to Blue Hill and 50 minutes to Bar Harbor. Enjoy complete peace with only the sounds of nature and nobody nearby. Sweet outdoor solar shower (or heat water on gas stove and fill shower). All that's left is a good book, writing, yoga, wine etc on the screened porch. Everything is new except the hand hewn logs. The space This is like being in the middle of Alaska but CLOSE to all conveniences. All linens and kitchen needs provided, new fridge, gas stove, and an espresso maker. New outhouse too! Guest access The entire cabin and surrounding woods are yours. Other things to note Please note there's no hot water but great running cold water in kitchen and outside. There's big pots for heating water, and a fully functional outdoor solar shower surrounded by only trees! (i.e., there's no sides to the shower.) The walk is on a path with a long walkway/bridge in the middle, much like a trail in baxter). This is way more than glamorous camping, but it's wilderness.
