VICARAGE COTTAGE is a luxury one bedroom cottage privately set in the tranquil, landscaped gardens of The Old Vicarage, a lovely Victorian house. The character property, with its own cottage garden, has original features and is comfortably furnished with country antiques, offering heavenly views across excellent walking country. The space The half-timbered cottage is built on the site of a Norman castle. It has old beams and a stone inglenook fireplace with a working Victorian coal-fired range (coal is not supplied). Downstairs there is a spacious, well-equipped farmhouse style kitchen, with large dining table and comfortable sitting room. Upstairs is second sitting room, the bedroom with a comfortable Victorian half-tester (4 poster) bed and a stylish bathroom with bath and shower over. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage Other things to note While the cottage has its own small garden, guests are welcome to share the gardens of The Old Vicarage. Please note the steep, winding staircase is not suitable for those with walking impairments. We operate a strict cancellation policy. But we will be very sympathetic to requests for postponement should the government shut our accommodation or prevent you from travelling to the cottage.
