Welcome to my charming and spacious bungalow in the heart of Sheffield Mills - your perfect home-away-from-home in the Valley! I’m just 20 minutes from Wolfville and surrounded by over 10 amazing wineries - perfect for exploring and sipping your way through the Valley! The space Welcome to your home-away-from-home in beautiful Sheffield Mills - a cozy, charming bungalow nestled beside my main residence, where I live with my two very friendly (and famously cuddly) Mastiff dogs. These gentle giants are our enthusiastic “meeters and greeters” and have been a big hit with guests in the past, however, if you’re nervous around large dogs, this may not be the ideal stay for you. I also cannot accept other dogs as mine are very territorial and protective. Inside, you’ll find two queen-size bedrooms, each with full closets. One room features air conditioning, while the other opens out to a private deck, perfect for sipping your morning coffee or while watching the sun set over the North Mountain and spotting the bald eagles that Sheffield Mills is famous for. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need - stove, microwave, large fridge, and all the cookware essentials. You’ll also have your own laundry facilities, a newly updated bathroom, and a spacious living room with a large screen TV and Netflix access for cozy nights in. The sectional sofa and futon can accommodate two extra guests, and there’s room for an air mattress if needed. For your convenience, the bungalow has keyless entry, along with private patio areas and BBQ facilities for outdoor dining. In the warmer months, guests are welcome to enjoy the shared pool and lounging area - a lovely spot to cool off and unwind. Do note that the pool is occasionally enjoyed by myself and my friends too. As the sun sets and the air cools, head to the shared fire pit area to toast marshmallows and gaze at the stars - truly the perfect way to end a day in this little slice of Valley paradise. Guest access You’ll have full use of the bungalow, plus your own private patio and BBQ—a great spot to relax and enjoy meals outdoors. There’s a shared driveway for parking right by the house. In the warmer months, you’re welcome to enjoy the pool and lounging area. Just a heads-up - it’s a shared space, and I sometimes have friends or family over for a swim too. You’ll also have shared access to the backyard and fire pit area, perfect for cozy evenings, roasting marshmallows, and watching the stars. Other things to note Ranmoor Lodge is in a fantastic location with easy access to Wolfville, Port Williams, New Minas, and Kentville - all just a short drive away. If you’re a wine lover, you’re in for a treat! There are over 10 wineries within a 10-30 minute radius, and wine tours run regularly throughout the area, making it easy to sip and savour your way through the Valley. Just a minute down the road (or a 10-minute walk home) is the newest local gem - Sea Level Brewery, also known locally as The Millstone. And for foodies, the award-winning Dickie Baxter’s in nearby Canning is a must-visit for delicious, gourmet fare. Golfers will be happy to know that Ken-Wo Golf Club is only 15 minutes away, with two more beautiful courses within a 30-minute to 1-hour drive. Registration Details 03061750065285189
