This colorful, cheerfully renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath house is centrally-located in an artistic neighborhood just 6 blocks to Riverbend Hot Springs and a short drive to Elephant Butte Lake. A comfortable home for your Tor C visit! The space Casa de Colores is a renovated 700 sf house with a bathroom including a full-size tub, a bedroom with queen size bed, a living room with smart tv, dining area for two, a cute kitchen with full-size fridge and all the tools and utensils to make a meal, plus a washing machine. The house has updated, double-paned windows and two heat pumps/mini-splits for perfect and quiet temps all year round. Here are the details room-by-room: kitchen: Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, 4-burner gas stovetop, standard toaster, full-size fridge, fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, and cooking utensils plus supplies of olive oil/salt/pepper/sugar to get your cooking started. The kitchen has a complete dish set, drinking glasses, and wine glasses for two. It does not have an oven, only a toaster oven with baking sheets and pans. bathroom: full bathtub with shower curtain, colorful bath linens (set of two bath towels, 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels). bedroom: queen bed, crisp percale bed sheets, 4 pillows, two nightstands, two bedside lights, two windows with cellular blinds, a 4-drawer dresser, a small closet, and a new ceiling fan with 3 speeds and a light, and a mini split air handler with remote control that is inaudible but makes sure the bedroom is the perfect temp - cool in the summer and warm in the winter. living room: full-size couch, gas fireplace to create ambiance and to take the edge off in the winter, ceiling fan with 3 speeds and a light, smart tv with Amazon Fire (watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, or other channels on our account or yours). dining room: table and chairs for two, a second mini split air handler with remote control. laundry: a full-size washing machine with detergent, a clothes line with pins in the backyard (no dryer), and an interior drying rack. yard: small front yard has two large cedar trees creating shade and privacy. Back yard is fenced with a tall privacy fence and shared with the neighbor. There is a mobile metal fence that can be arrange to enclose your backyard from the neighbor's (we own that casita, too). There are two Adirondack chairs for two. parking: short gravel driveway with room for one car and on-street parking in front, or on the side of the house. neighborhood: artists live in the houses across the street and are smattered throughout the neighborhood giving this area a fun vibe. A convenience store with beer, ice cream, snacks, and basic supplies is at the end of the block. Guest access You have private access to the entire house, front and back yards, and small gravel parking area. The fenced in backyard is shared with our neighbor. Other things to note We are in the process of sprucing up this house. We haven't finished the exterior of the home yet and you will notice our incomplete construction around four windows. This is not noticeable from inside, only the finishing touches from the outside.
