It sits within a beautifully preserved grand old Victorian Villa in a tranquil part of Torquay which is nevertheless ideally placed to enjoy all that The English Riviera has to offer. Within walking distance of the amenities of Wellswood Village (including the pub) and close to key visitor attractions such as Kent's cavern. We will accept ONE Adult dog on request. The space The apartment features a large living space with very high ceilings and ornate original plasterwork. The room has been lovingly decorated with Sanderson wallpaper and has a contemporary, chic feel whilst acknowledging the grand Victorian heritage of the property. The living space has a superb marble fire place with a flame effect fire for cosy nights in. There is a sofa and arm chair with a footstool so guests can put their feet up and relax in the evenings in front of the SMART TV. There is a stunning bay window with floor to ceiling windows which give wonderful views over the charming Rose Garden at the side of the property. The bay windows have original wooden shutters. There is a dining table in the Bay window. Guest have free access to our full fibre broadband. Wifi speeds normally available - Max download speed (Kbps): up to 106000 and Max upload speed (Kbps): up to 47000 The bedroom also overlooks the Rose Garden at the side of the property and it too has floor to ceiling windows that have working original wooden shutters as well as privacy blinds. The windows are softened with the addition of dreamy voiles which when drawn give additional privacy as well as a relaxing softened light ideal for an afternoon nap. The bedroom features a king sized luxury bed, a French style armoir wardrobe and there is a flat screen TV. There is a bathroom with oversized shower which also features grab rails as well as a shower seat which might prove useful to guests who are a little unsteady on their feet. There is a toilet and wash basin. We supply guests with all towels as well as a welcome pack of toiletries. Additional and free on road parking is available directly outside the property. There are two EV charging points in the car park for the exclusive use of guests.
