The Calypso Resort is conveniently located on the west end of the beach, which is less congested and family friendly. We have an ideal location across the street from Pier Park. Pier Park provides outdoor shopping, entertainment center including the Grand 16 IMAX and movie theaters, numerous restaurants, retail stores, amusement rides. Take a walk across the street to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Back Porch Seafood, Pompano Joe's,and Dick's Last Resort restaurants or enjoy live music at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. You can pickup your sunscreen at the Super Target or enjoy a cup of coffee at the Starbucks. Bring the kids to Gulf World (less than a mile East of Calypso) to enjoy a Dolphin encounter and various shows through out the day. The Calypso Resort has two gorgeous free-form 175 foot pools which are directly on the beach. The tropical landscaping and you are on the beach. Don't forget to stop at the Tiki Bar on the way down for a delicious frozen drinks. The Calypso provides on-site beach activities & rentals such as Parasailing, Wave Runners and Banana Boat Rides. If you need a break from the beach, go up to the workout room located on the 3rd floor to use the treadmill, elliptical trainer, or free weights!. Take the elevator down a floor turn right and your right back to our condo where you can check your email with the free wireless internet that we provide in the room! Accommodations for up to eight are provided by a king in the master bedroom, King in the guest bedroom, the third bedroom composed of two twin beds. There are many extras including: 9 foot ceiling throughout with crown molding, granite counter tops in the bathrooms and kitchen, wet bar and separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is even a walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Guest access Check-in time starts at 3 PM Special check-in instructions: At the time of your arrival park in the unloading zone located in front of the West Tower. To access the condo please take the elevator to the 22nd floor of the West Tower. The unit number is 2204 and is to the right of the elevator. The access code for the front door will be provided with your agreement prior to arrival. Resident wrist bands will be left on the kitchen counter. Wrist bands must be worn at all times to access amenities. At this point you have two options for unloading: Option 1: You may unload all of your things at the unloading zone then park your vehicle in the parking garage after you are done unloading. Option 2: Unload items while in the garage. For your convenience carts are available on the third level of the parking garage.
