The space If one follows the narrow winding road from the square, he will eventually come across the welcoming doors of Mansion Kyani. Situated on a hill top, overlooking the surrounding vineyards, the village of Megalochori and the sparkling Aegean in the distance, this harmonic dwelling offers stupendous, all encompassing views. Upon entering into the courtyard, which is hand-laid by local craftsmen in the traditional "Plakoto" cobblestone paved style, one sees that this mansion affords three separate living areas—two on the ground floor and one on the first. Connected by an outside stone flight of stairs, this layout ensures that while you are vacationing together, every guest enjoys generous personal space and absolute privacy. There is also an extravagant infinity swimming pool and sun deck, made entirely of volcanic rock. Unlike the exposed cliffs of Oia, this high-walled oasis is "Meltemi-proof," naturally shielded from strong island winds. Here, guests can relax in beautiful scenery which is illuminated in a dramatic way during night-time, offering an unforgettable experience. The serenity of the mansion's sculpture is evident the moment one enters the barn door on the ground floor which leads you into a compact kitchen. Original archways lead through into the magnificent master bedroom with a domed ceiling. These traditional "cave" structures are bio-climatic, keeping the rooms naturally cool and quiet for a restful sleep. An extravagant en-suite bathroom features a large tub and separate shower. Starting again from the beautiful courtyard, original wooden doors lead into the spacious second double bedroom, which also features an en-suite comfortable second bathroom. The first floor of this Mansion offers an expansive large terrace, perfect for outside dining, with panoramic views of the surrounding area. Inside, original wooden floors have been restored. The many windows on the upper level of this property allow for brightness and airiness as the beautiful light of the Cyclades seeps through. The comfortable double bedroom on this floor boasts views overlooking the village and its venetian bell towers. The same views are enjoyed from the dining room which can comfortably accommodate 6 persons. On the same floor, there is a spacious bathroom with large tub and separate restroom. The cleverly designed open-plan compact kitchen and well appointed living area allow for casual entertaining.
