Agriturismo Podere Conte Ràcani - Apartment IL GRANAIO The space Like every apartment in our Agriturismo, IL GRANAIO also has an independent access and is spread over an area of 70 square meters. In front of the apartment there is a space with a lawn for exclusive use where you can possibly have a barbecue (wood included in the price). or place the deckchairs for a moment of relaxation. IL GRANAIO is located on the first floor and can be reached after climbing a comfortable external staircase of 14 steps which ends on a terrace where there is the access door to the apartment. On the left of the entrance there are the bedrooms while on the right there is the living room with a wood-burning fireplace (included in the price), a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining table with chairs and a sofa, as well as the access staircase to a mezzanine (max height 1. 60 m) with two beds and a balustrade overlooking the living room. The bedrooms are one double and one twin which can eventually become a second double. The bathroom is with bidet and shower. The apartment is furnished with all the dishes and linens (bed, bathroom and kitchen) necessary for a pleasant stay. Agriturismo Podere Conte Ràcani is situated 400 m. above sea level, on the hills above the left bank of the Tiber River, 10 km from the exit Attigliano / Bomarzo of the A1 highway Milano-Napoli. It still bears the name of its old owners, the Counts Ràcani, noble Umbrian family, whose coat of arms included the lizard (Ràcani in the local dialect), which is still present in the logo of the farm. Next to the manor house, three apartments were created by restoring the stables and barn, while respecting the character and materials of the local tradition. The Agriturismo is surrounded by olive groves, cultivated fields, forests of oaks, and beautiful typical Umbrian landscapes. Five hectars (twenty acres) of young hazelnut trees, two hectars (eight acres) of Bamboo and young olive trees have been now planted to reinforce the production of the farm. And there are plenty of classic farm animals: chickens, ducks, horses and dogs. In summer the swimming pool (m. 11,50 x 5,50 x 1,20) and ping pong are a nice relaxing break to alternate to visit some of the most valuable art cities of Umbria such as Orvieto, Narni, Todi, Spoleto, Spello, Viterbo, Bomarzo, all to no more than an hour's drive from the farm. For those who want to enjoy horse riding, just 5 km from the Farm there is a well-equipped riding school with riding instructor for children and adults. For our guests we also have some bicycles for scenic walks visiting the beautiful Umbrian countryside and the nearest locations. Guest access In summer, the swimming pool and table tennis represent a pleasant relaxing break to alternate with a visit to some of the most precious art cities of Umbria, such as Orvieto, Narni, Todi, Spoleto, Spello, all of which are no more than one 'hour drive from the farm.
