The space Lackandarra Lodge has existed as a hunting lodge on this estate for centuries. The guest house successfully combines modern functionality with a cosy farmhouse feel. Five bedrooms are sleeping up to 14 people. The house has two living hubs with the high spec main kitchen and living area on the first floor with access to a balcony leading to the gardens and country walks. Each room enjoys copious natural light and panoramic countryside views. Downstairs you will find light and airy bedrooms, three en suite bathrooms, all with power showers, a further lounge with a conservatory that leads to decking and BBQ area, where you can soak up the country air and enjoy wonderful mountain sceneries. Guest access Lackandarra Lodge sits on a 10-acre working farm estate. Once the gates close, guests will have the freedom to enjoy nature at its finest. Deer are regular visitors to the fields opposite the house, there are mature gardens, and woods to explore, a walk down the Colligan river, a BBQ area, and access to a home gym and games room in a converted garage. All in one goal post and shared playground on a farm. Other things to note Lackandarra Lodge is the perfect location from which to explore the countryside of West Waterford. The Colligan River meanders its way through the estate. The Comeragh mountains are on our doorstep with the Mahon Falls, Nire Valley, and the Colligan Woods a short drive away. The renowned Waterford Greenway starts in Dungarvan just a 15-minute drive away, where there are many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops around the beautiful harbour.
