Peaceful Farm Stay on Picturesque 5 acres!

Are you coming to Murphys to taste wine, hike through Big Trees or just get out of town for some serenity? Come stay in our private Cellar Masters' Suite on 5 acres of Foothill beauty. 5-7 min drive to town where you can walk to over 25 wineries, dine in fabulous restaurants, and see the best that Calaveras has to offer like hiking, fishing, boating, golfing, skiing, and of course wine tasting! We are dog friendly and everyone is welcome! The space The Cellar Master's Suite is an amazing hideaway just 5-7 minutes from downtown Murphys. (It is not walkable, but is a quick drive and you will be tucked away in the peace and serenity of our homestead). The Cellar Master's Suite is a one bedroom in-law apartment (approximately 700sqft) with private entrance (this is not a detached unit; it is directly below the main house that we occupy full time). In the bedroom you will find a California King bed with Tempurpedic mattress that very comfortably sleeps two adults. In the living room, the couch folds into a queen size bed that can sleep an additional two guests. There is a fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils and cookware you'll need to prepare fabulous meals. The bathroom has a pedestal-style sink and stand up shower. There is a small patio that looks on to the property and has a propane BBQ grill, table and chairs. The suite includes WiFi, DirecTV, BluRay DVD player with Smart apps like Netflix, AmazonVideo, YouTube, etc. There is a gas heater in the living room that is more than sufficient for warming the entire apartment. There is also an air conditioning unit, but since it is well insulated and under the main house, it stays failry cool during summer months. Towels, linens, etc. are included. As the suite is below our living space, you may hear us moving around above you. We make every effort to walk lightly in order to minimize noise impact on our guests. We are also the owners of the Murphys Irish Pub In downtown Murphys. We offer a 10% “locals discount” to all of our guests so please come in for some cold beer/wine and amazing pub food! Please let your server know you are our guest when you mention the discount. The pub closes late so we often get home around midnight on the weekends, again, we do our best to walk softly and not disturb our guests. We have temporarily increased our standard cleaning fee is $50 due to Covid related sanitation, this is a one time fee, regardless of length of your stay. The Cellar Master's Suite is pet friendly for dogs (sorry no cats as owners are allergic). We do not believe in charging any additional fees to bring your furry family members on your getaway but please let us know if you plan to bring a dog when making your reservation. (We have a 75 lb max size limit). We ask that you be respectful of the space, monitor your pets activities and clean up after your pet. :-) ***SPECIAL*** We are offering a special Cellar Master's Welcome Package for an additional fee of $50. This includes a bottle of local wine or sparkling, cheese, fruit, crackers and fresh local baked goods. We can customize based on dietary restrictions. Please let us know if you are interested in the Cellar Master’s Welcome Package. Guest access You will have the entie one-bedroom apartment with private entrance all to yourselves. We have a convenient coded lock on the door, so you can check in at your convenience, anytime after 2pm on the day of your arrival. You are also free to explore the beautiful 5 acre property! Please make sure you close all gates to keep our farm animals safe. On any explorations, please do so at your own risk, be mindful of your safety (owners are not liable for any injuries or accidents). DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES. There are a lot of ticks in our region so please check your pet prior to coming back inside to make sure they haven't brought along any unwanted 'guests'. Other things to note Please do not park on any spaces that are not paved. We reserve a special place in the driveway for our guests. If you plan to bring more than one car, please message me so we can make arrangements for extra parking.
