The sound of the river and its natural surroundings are worth a visit. Enjoy the gorgeous mountain foliage and hiking during the fall. In the winter, there is no better way to spend a snowy or cold day than in a cozy log home. 🌉 Bridge Access & Weather: To access the neighborhood, you must cross a low-lying bridge. • Snow: Typically not a problem, as residents live here year-round. • Flooding: Rare, but possible. We monitor water levels closely and will alert you if access may be affected. In the case of an unexpected flash flood, delays may occur. Do not leave your animal there if it is raining and the bridge water is right below the bottom of the bridge. There is only one other way in by foot hiking. Something’s are no longer provided due to things walking off. - There is a low lying bridge you have to cross to get to the neighborhood. Snow should not impact crossing, as people live there full time, but the A rare heavy flood would present a problem. We try to keep an eye on water levels and give notice if it might become impassable, coming or going, but Occasionally, a flash flood surprises us. Our cancellation policy is FIRM no refunds will be giving under 30 days of your stay for any reason unless the bridge is not passable!! We have had major issues with refunds, therefore, this will no longer be done! Please purchase travel insurance for your protection. The cabin is on well water and septic. Do not flush a large amount of toilet paper at one time or flush anything other than toilet paper. By accepting your reservation, you are accepting to use the hot tub at your own risk.
