Main Adobe House: The first-floor master suite has its own private curved entry, birdsong outside the window, and an open-flow curtain divider rather than a traditional door...ideal for couples who want to feel connected to the house. Noted here for guests who prefer full room privacy between spaces. Only one other bedroom on 1st floor...so, there is plenty of privacy. The upstairs king suite in the main house has a private terrace with stunning mountain views and its own exterior staircase, or, for the brave and the young at heart, a hand-built ship's ladder connecting into the main house that kids absolutely adore. One single bedroom just off the kitchen. Cozy, warm, and perfectly positioned for early risers who want first access to the coffee. Great for a child, a solo guest, elderly parent or anyone who wants to be close to the heart of the house. The Casita: The casita is its own quiet world...a private retreat within the retreat, with two single beds and its own entrance. Perfect for guests who want their own door, their own morning, their own pace. Just outside main house. The Cabin: The 1860s cabin carries the weight of New Mexican history in every beam and board. Queen bed, fireplace, and the most atmospheric and private sleep on the property. A separate Bathhouse with toilet sits just steps from the main home, with hand-plastered walls, candlelight, and the kind of stillness that makes a simple shower feel like ceremony...but we added a Bluetooth speaker in the ceiling fan for NPR lovers. Paths are softly lit by solar light to protect the night sky. The terrain is natural, uneven, and deeply peaceful. An SUV is recommended during winter or after heavy rain...nothing wild, just comfort for the curves and bumps. You'll have complete privacy throughout your stay. A few exterior-only security cameras cover the common areas and entry points for security and delivery monitoring. They never cover indoor or private spaces.
