You can eat in the owner's nearby inn and you can also order fresh bread rolls if you wish. The Turracher Höhe, a real natural gem with 3 mountain lakes, is located 50 km northeast of Spittal an der Drau, at a healthy altitude of 1763 m. On one side of the pass are the wild, green mountain panoramas of rural Styria, while on the other side , in Carinthia, you can enjoy the entertainment and warmth of the southern lake district of Austria. Excursions to Lake Millstättersee or Lake Ossiachersee are also among the options. The Turracher Höhe ski area, an absolute winter paradise, offers 43 kilometers of slopes and 15 cable cars and ski lifts as well as a snow guarantee from November to May.
