Characteristic for the Rotkäppchenland is also a large number of museums, which provide excellent insights into the history of the country and numerous special features. Bad Hersfeld, which is only 15 km away, also belongs to the absolutely recommendable excursions and welcomes its visitors with a great half-timbered old town as well as numerous spa, cultural and leisure facilities.
