Lovely 1-bedroom Oasis with Patio / Private Entry

Enjoy a peaceful and centrally-located private apartment in the heart of historic Alameda. You'll be minutes from nearly everything on the island and centrally located to the bay too. It's commutable or a short drive to nearly any attraction the bay has to offer. Unit amenities include a private entrance, fully furnished kitchen, dining nook, 1 queen bed, washer and drier, shared patio (but private from public), free wifi, Hulu, and Netflix. Enjoy yourself in this cozy island retreat. The space Upon arrival you’ll walk down the left side of the main historic house, through the gate, and onto the fenced in patio area. The main entrance will be to your right. Upon entry, you’ll step down into the main living room with a quaint and comfy couch and ottoman. To the immediate left will be your private bedroom equipped with a super comfy queen sized bed and matching bedroom set for you to use. A little further upon entry and to the left will be the large dine-in kitchen fully equipped with all the tools for you to cook a delicious and romantic dinner for two. There is room also to have a pair of friends or family over as well should you like to re-acquaint with them for the day. At the back of the apartment and on the right you’ll find a full bathroom for refreshing yourself after a long day of traveling and/or site seeing. Depending on the length of your stay, there is a great washer and drier available for you if you need as well in the utility space behind the kitchen. There is a broom, a floor mop, and a vacuum there for your use as well for any spills that might have happened. Guest access You’ll have private access to the entire finished space. The laundry area is shared access, however. There is a doorway behind the armoire that is in the hallway that is closed off and locked from the other side. There is also a doorway off the utility area that will remain locked and inaccessible to guests. These lead to the garage space of the primary (non-rental) unit. We try to minimize disturbances on the patio area while guests are here, but do need to walk through it from time to time to access our backyard from the front of the house. The patio is fenced to prevent our very friendly and inquisitive dogs from accessing the space as well. Feel free to store (and lock up) your bikes under the deck should you bring them on your visit.
