It is perfect for travellers wanting to experience a warm Mexican community while being just a short walk to the beach and all that Puerto Vallarta has to offer. It has incredible views of the ocean to the west and the lush mountains to the east. Puerto Vallarta’s main organic farmers market is located in the area, and includes fresh seafood, produce, homemade tortillas and everything else you could need. We also have a good mix of western restaurants and local eateries. There are several bus routes nearby and it’s easily reached by taxi or Uber. I’ve hosted larger groups, wedding parties, family reunions and, of course, independent travellers. All are welcome at Angel’s Rest! The property itself is full of charm and character, arranged over four floors, with several open plan, outdoor kitchens and communal areas, wonderful for socializing and meeting likeminded travellers. It’s a very warm and friendly atmosphere, with guests often sharing a meal or enjoying one of the many barbecues together. Within a day or two you’ll feel like you’re on the TV series ‘Cheers’ - Where everybody knows your name!
