The space The Pelican Lodge & Spa is situated on a half acre in a private and peaceful forest setting. The conversational living room layout has plenty of seating to play family games or enjoy a movie night on the 55" Smart TV. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal and serve it on the gorgeous custom-built dining table. Kitchen comes with several small appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, filtered water cooler and coffee station. This unique property is equipped with Super fast STARLINK internet for the movie buff, remote worker, or video gamer. Additional dining space also available on the deck. The Master bedroom has a queen bed with 40" Smart TV and private deck access to bistro seating to enjoy your morning coffee. Second bedroom has a queen bed, 1 raised twin bed (bunk style over washer and dryer) and 32" Smart TV. The 4-piece bathroom features a tub with shower. Throughout the home you will find many custom cottage furnishings built by The Cottage Depot that really define this home along with tasteful lodge decor. There is a Wood Stove available (Sept to April) and Air Conditioning in the summer for your added comfort. Outside there is a high powered hot tub (seats 6) overlooking the forest, dining area, stainless steel BBQ and additional seating to enjoy nature and friends. A rocked space includes a large chiminea along with over-sized chair seating to capture lasting campfire memories. Magnificent lake-front sunsets await you only a short 5 min walk away. Our property follows Airbnb's cleaning protocol to ensure the home is cleaned and disinfected. For guests with infants, we have a high chair, booster seat, and playpen onsite. Our cottage has a no-pet, no-party and no-smoking policy. Guest access The whole cabin is available for use. The wood stove is only available from September to April and requires pre-approval for insurance reasons. The washing machine is not for guest use unless there is an issue with the bedding. Note that we have hard well water that can result in hard water iron stains if the appropriate anti-iron mineral treatment is not applied. Please request use of washing machine for the bedding only and we will walk you through how to apply a special treatment to each load to reduce risk of hard water staining. Other things to note Our nightly rate is for the first 4 guests. There is a small fee for a 5th guest. Wood Stove is available for use from September to April. Short term rental policy allows for a maximum 5 guests including day visitors and maximum 2 cars (including day visitors).
