Sunny houseboat near Amsterdam centre!

Our beautiful houseboat is only 12 min from Amsterdam centre by train & 5 min from the famous Zaanse Schans windmills! Use our motor boat to visit the local mills in the nature area, relax in the large sunny garden or on our spacious terrace boat! It's the ideal location to enjoy a relaxed holiday and also be close to all the famous attractions! A rowing boat and bikes are available so you can enjoy all the attractions in the area near the houseboat! We're looking forward to meeting you! The space This unique houseboat is located at a small island near all the famous tourist attractions (such as the Zaanse Schans and Amsterdam city centre). Due to the central location and nearness of a train station, the houseboat is an excellent start to explore the area! The houseboat is very spacious and bright, has a very large and sunny garden and a sunny floating terrace (both private). We have a rowing boat with which you can discover the nature area and local windmills which you can only go to by boat. The nature area starts around the corner of the houseboat and it's a typical wetland area. Truly a unique experience! The conditions for using the boat are in the house rules of this listing and in the information folder in the houseboat. Also, we have bikes available to explore the area and I've made a bike route to the Zaanse Schans windmills and in the nature area around there. It's really worthwhile a visit! Enjoying your holiday at this houseboat will be a truly unique experience! We are sure that you will be very comfortable and will feel at home when you stay here! Guest access The houseboat has a large and sunny living room. It has large windows on either side, which provide a view to the private garden on one side, and the canal on the other. The spacious and fully equipped kitchen (including a dish washer) adjoins the living room. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom is located downstairs (which is below the water level, a unique experience in itself). The second bedroom is located upstairs, and is a bright and comfortable room with a view on the garden and a door which leads to the floating terrace. In total there are 1 super kingsize bed and 2 single beds present. You can enjoy a private bathroom with a luxurious shower. There is also a separate toilet. There are a washing and drying machine available. A large TV (42 inch) and free WIFI are available. We have a spacious and sunny terrace boat in the canal which is fixed to the houseboat. You can use our large rowing boat and canoes to explore the island or nearby nature area (10 min rowing). We have bikes available, free to use! Our sunny garden is private for you to use. Other things to note Rowing Boat Information & Instructions: It is a rowing/pedal boat, so please note: You cannot go to Amsterdam or the Zaanse Schans windmills with it — the distance is too far. Instead, you can enjoy the beautiful nearby wetland area with local mills. You can only take out the boat if you understand and agree to the following conditions: You use the boat completely at your own risk. You understand that boating involves risks and agree that we cannot be held liable in any way. You are responsible for your own safety and that of others. We are not liable for any damages, injuries, or accidents caused while using the boat. This applies even in case of malfunction, misuse, or misunderstanding of the instructions. If you are uncertain, do not use the boat. If you cause an accident, damage, or injury, you are fully responsible and must cover all costs. The boat has no insurance, and if you use it, you are not insured either. Instructions and suggested routes (for the windmills and the area around the houseboat) are provided only as guides. We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur while following them. The river near the windmills is wide. The water is usually calm, but larger (transport) ships and faster water traffic do pass by. Always judge if it is safe for you and others. Keep close to the shore, stay alert, and never cross the river to the other side. You are not allowed to dock the boat anywhere except at the houseboat. Do not leave it unattended, and always lock and tie it properly when you finish. People under 18 years cannot use the boat unattended. Only use the boat with people who can swim. If you cannot swim, do not go on the boat. These conditions can also be found in the information folder in the houseboat, together with the rowing instructions and suggested route to the windmills.
