Only 15 minutes from Sacramento International Airport, and 10 minutes from Amtrak Sacramento Valley Station. The unit features a private back yard, a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of on-street parking. The unit is perfect for a couples getaway, the whole family and remote workers. The home retains original architectural features throughout-arched doorways, hardwood floors and original retro tile work in the kitchen and bath. The kitchen has a lovely pass through breakfast bar, new stainless steel appliances and plenty of storage. One bedroom has a full bed and dedicated work space with desk and chair, the 2nd bedroom has a king bed. The private backyard is landscaped, surrounded by towering oak trees, bamboo and ferns. Outfitted with Adirondack chairs, cozy up with a book and enjoy the lovely outdoor space. Guest have access to the entire unit including the back yard. Laundry is only available for stays of 5 or more days and shared with the owners/hosts who live in the adjacent home. We live in the adjacent main house. We are always available to assist when needed but give our guests space and privacy. We love our quiet court and have wonderful neighbors. This well-established neighborhood is a great place to live and to visit! We enjoy cool morning walks and often have a nice Delta breeze in the evenings. We are close to the city, and yet, still have a little country feel! No parties or events. No smoking. Quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
