Sleepy Bear Guest House is a cozy studio suite situated amongst the rainforest and attached to the famous Wild Pacific Trail. A great spot for a couple looking to wind down and enjoy the beautiful rugged West Coast. The suite is one of 3 on the bottom level of a family home on a quiet cul de sac. Enjoy the privacy of your own suite or get to know your neighbours on the shared cedar deck equipped with lounge chairs and a picnic table. Included with your stay is our custom built Cedar Sauna! The space The suites (dens) are situated at the back of our family house looking out onto the rainforest. The suites are approximately 150 square feet with a queen bed, and custom hand made cedar furniture. The room is equipped with high speed wifi, Optik TV (cable / netflix etc), mini fridge, electric kettle, microwave, teas, and fresh coffee from our friends at The Foggy Bean Coffee Company, specifically ground for the bodum provided. Enjoy the three piece ensuite bath with tub, shower and complementary eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Each suite has its own private entrance and sits under a shared covered cedar deck equipped with lounge chairs, so you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee looking out onto the rainforest. Included with your stay is use of our custom built Canadian Cedar Barrel Sauna. The perfect way to wind down after a long day out in nature. Sleepy Bear Guest House is situated on a very quiet street steps away from the Wild Pacific Trail, local beaches and The Black Rock Resort. A quick 2 minute drive or 15min walk will take you to the local restaurants, shops, and cafes. A perfect West Coast escape! Other things to note Please note: We share our house with our two young children, as we try to be very conscious of sound, there may be a chance you will hear pitter patter of toddler feet from above. If you find it disruptive then please let us know and we will do our best to rectify the situation. Also please note there are 3 dens next to each other, as a courtesy to your neighbours we ask that you please keep noise level to a minimum past 8pm. We do not charge for a cleaning fee.
