Here are a few suggestions: Day Trips include Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole, Palisades Lake, or the many forks of the Snake River for all the fishing you could ever wish for. There are several options for white water rafting in Jackson. Lava Hot Springs has a water park and you can float the Portneuf River. Rexburg also has a water park and a zip line park. Heise Winter activities include snowmobiling in Yellowstone or Island Park or Skiing/snowboarding at Kelly Canyon or Grand Targhee. Snow shoeing is also a popular activity. Nearby Hot Springs Part Day activities include Yellowstone Bear World, Blacktail Reservoir, Heise (and several others) Hot Springs, Ross Aquatic Park, Idaho Falls Green Belt, Square Ice Cream in Swan Valley or enjoying Mesa Falls. Taupthaus Park has activities to offer such as the skateboard park, multiple kids playgrounds (handicap accessible swings) and the small fun park. There is also Taupthaus Park Zoo for your enjoyment.
