We haven't offered Summit Views much since 2019, until more recently. Being one of the originals (23 years now) of the Mornington Peninsula we have seen it all and the info directly below is because of a few 'rotten eggs' over the years. IF THIS OFFENDS YOUR SENSIBILITIES, I would graciously ask you not to book. I apologise to you for what may seem, to the odd ONE, as overbearing in-house detail; rather it is informative info to make your stay more comfortable. In a polite way, I inform guests in a detailed email and with a few notations in the apartments. THE APARTMENTS: The Eagle Nest & Skyview Penthouse have king beds; separate lounge's, private balcony’s & both the apartments have private entrances & are self catering, we are not B&B’s. A huge lounge with wood fireplace (wood supplied May to Oct inclusive ONLY) & full kitchen in the SKYVIEW PENTHOUSE. In the EAGLE NEST is the spa side TV with a centrally located bathroom an elegant gas log fireplace & compact lounge/dinning/kitchenette. SKYVIEW SPECIFICS: The Skyview Penthouse is the Baltic TIMBER themed pictures, befitting it's country location. It is approx 100 square metres with a huge lounge space on the North face, wall to wall glass frontage, with ceilings raking up to 5 metres high. Separate bedroom (minimum view). The Skyview's bathroom has a medium size corner spa with no view. You can see the view through the shower glass, as it looks down over the lounge windows. SKYVIEW ON SCREEN ENTERTAINMENT: Netflix & Disney provided. 2 Screens Lounge & Bedroom. Use the apps section for login to your OWN ie Stan etc. The 3rd screen for the spa side TV is free to air ONLY. It is not pictured in the photo section. No Foxtel, this is in the Eagle Nest apartment. Full Kitchen Large balcony off lounge area with filtered shade cover but not roofed, so no rain cover. Front entrance balcony and bedroom balcony have roofed cover. BBQ: Not available May to Nov inclusive due to potential high winds/rain & ONLY by request & 2 day prior to arrival from Dec to Apr inclusive. EAGLE NEST SPECIFICS: The Eagle Nest is the CONTEMPORARY themed pictures. It is approx 60 square metres of semi-open planned space with a centrally located bathroom, flanked either side by lounge/kitchenette (small) and bedroom (chandon king), with views through out. Large roofed balcony off lounge area. The kitchenette has a small microwave/convection oven, small oven, single electric cooktop and dishwasher, all of a portable nature. A bar fridge, a few pots and pans and basic utensils. The Eagle Nest's bathroom has a view and large double Spa with spa side LCD screen. BBQ small type (by request ONLY, 2 days notice required) EAGLE NEST ON SCREEN ENTERTAINMENT: Foxtel On Demand IQ4 Platinum Package from 3 screens. You can login to your own Netflix account from apps in Foxtel. DVD player for those still using them. Bedroom & bathroom (in keeping with space) are 32” & lounge above real flame gas log fire place is a 50” screen. There is no HDMI & USB available for your devices as they are wall mounted. Guest access VERY IMPORTANT FOR DISABILITY. We are situated on a steep mountain side, accessibility to the top level of the building is via 7 stone steps (not pictured) for the SKYVIEW APARTMENT & for the EAGLE NEST, 9 stone steps followed directly by a number of garden steps to the EAGLE NEST APARTMENT - SEE photo under Accommodation pics CAPTIONED for the EAGLE NEST. The Skyview does not have any other steps externally other than the 7 specified above. Please provide your personal email after booking so I can send Pre Arrival In House Details. Confirmed booking to provide the owner with a credit card for the bond of $400 charged on check in & refunded on departure. For Last Minute Booking a delayed check in of up to 2 hours from the time of booking is required to give the manager time to arrange check in. BBQ's only available by request from Dec to Apr Inclusive. High wind/rain from May to Nov inclusive are prohibitive for BBQ's use.
