Come visit your family in JC for the holidays! This cozy & quiet 2 bed/1 bath home in North Johnson City exudes Christmas peace. The well appointed space caters to short & longer term stays alike. Prepare all your yummy meals in the nicely stocked kitchen. A washer/dryer, private parking and an overall feeling of solitude, but yet right in the city make this an ideal spot. 20 min to Bristol Motor Speedway, 6 minutes from I26. 10-15 min to ETSU and JC Medical Center. 5 min to grocery stores The space This is a 900sqft unit consisting of an open floor plan, two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom contains a queen size bed and the other bedroom contains two twin beds, with trundles. Blackout curtains in each bedroom. For our longer term guests, this room has a wall to wall closet with shelving to help with storage. Both bedrooms have black out curtains. The washer and dryer are located in the bathroom. The kitchen is totally new, with hickory cabinets and granite counter tops. The fridge has a rather prolific ice maker, and the oven has a built in air-fryer. With the kitchen being open to the living room, it makes the whole space inviting and a perfect place to gather. Turn on the electric fireplace for ambiance or extra warm on cold winter nights. There is a dedicated desk space in the living room for work/school. Outside, we have set up the carport as an additional outdoor living space in the spring/summer. The ambience of the patio lights at night is relaxing. The space itself is surrounded by trees/bushes, and gives the feeling of almost total seclusion, but right in the city, 5-15minutes from everything. This property is technically a duplex, but the lower unit is not in rental service at this time. Guest access Guests park at the top of the drive, where there is parking for 2 (or 3 if the cars are small) and enter in via keypad located on the door in the carport. Guess have access to entire unit with exception of a locked owners closet near the back door. There is no inside access between the two units. Other things to note While it is an "upper" unit, there is only a step up into the house and two small steps onto the deck because your parking area is at the top of the driveway. Linens: ALL bed linens and are laundered in between guests. Sheets are cotton or a mostly cotton blend. Expect a few wrinkles, but definitely no sticky micro-fiber here! This duplex is in one of the most IDEAL locations in Johnson City. It has a relaxing, secluded feel, but is 5-15 minutes from most everything in Johnson City. This is a great "landing pad" when checking out the Tri-Cities area as the location is ideal to hop on the interstate to take you to Bristol, Kingsport, Piney Flats, Jonesborough, etc.
