A peaceful base for adventure, rest, and a true Alaska escape. The space Newly remodeled Alaska themed log home with private entrance and lawn. The room includes a King size bed, two different sitting areas inside, a full kitchen, a private indoor bathroom with new sink and toilet and antique claw foot tub (with its own Alaskan history). There is a TV and DVD player with DVD library, games, books, magazines, and local discounts for your enjoyment. Extra blankets and pillows are provided. Outside you will find a covered front porch with table, chairs, and bench to enjoy. On the sunny side deck we have more outdoor furniture. There is a side lawn with grass. -Fabulous restaurants, food trucks, food stands and cafes to enjoy for every budget near by! **No Wifi or cable** We kindly ask for No Smoking on property. We live next door and we enjoy Alaska fresh air! **Fall and Winter guests- We have a large open lawn which allows for wonderful nighttime sky views. Guest access Guests have full, private access to the entire second floor of the log home, including the covered front porch, sunny side deck, and a peaceful side lawn next to the forest—perfect for relaxing or spotting wildlife. The ground floor is used only occasionally by us for lawn care and routine maintenance. Your space is fully private, and your comfort is our priority. Other things to note The lower level of this home is currently used for storage for this rental and lawn maintenance items. It has its own private entrance and will only be accessed as needed. A grocery store is conveniently located 4 miles away for all your needs. 📵 No Wi-Fi – Cell service is available! Many small Alaskan rentals do not offer Wi-Fi — it’s part of the unplugged experience! 📺 Entertainment – A TV, DVD player, and DVDs are provided.
