We look forward to your stay with us! Our property is at the end of a cul-de-sac of a family friendly and quiet neighborhood. We are close to the main road, the Talkeetna Spur Road, and easy to find. There is a great bike path that follows the entire Talkeetna Spur Road. We have lots of guests that show up with their own bikes! The Talkeetna Spur Road dead ends in Talkeetna; there is only one way in and out by road to Talkeetna! Our rental is near the mile four marker of the main road. We are adjacent to 50+ acres of forest. Our location is 10 miles from the town of Talkeetna. Please view the MAP for more details before booking! Easily enjoy the busyness of Talkeetna during the day and the restful quiet of our home in the evenings. Our home is popular with those traveling to Denali National Park, Fairbanks and back south to Anchorage. Our average stay is FOUR nights! It's best to have your own car. We are 10 miles from town and the train station. Bike rentals can be arranged in town and we are very close to the paved bike path that follows the entire Talkeetna Spur Road (14 miles). Again, I suggest calling or making arrangements before you arrive. Our location is a perfect spot to stay when traveling between Anchorage and Denali! There are plenty of local activities to keep you busy for days! Ask me for more details. MY AVERAGE STAY IS FOUR NIGHTS but many stay a week! The lower level of this home is currently used for storage for this rental and lawn maintenance items. It has its own private entrance and will only be accessed as needed. A grocery store is conveniently located 4 miles away for all your needs. No wifi. We personally use local at&t cell tower for our internet. Wifi can be found in town at the Talkeetna Library. Wifi is not commonly found in small rentals in Alaska. A TV, DVD player, and DVDs are provided. We do not have cable and unfortunately, an antenna does not work in our location.
