Very clean Alaska themed log home, with a Superhost that lives next door. This home stands out with a KING bed, FULL bathroom, FULL kitchen, filtered water, covered front porch, side deck, outdoor furniture, and a private side lawn. Large lawn provides great views of Auroras and Wildlife. Located in a family friendly, quiet neighborhood which is conveniently near the TKA Spur Road, and only 10 miles from downtown. Average booking is 4 nights, but many stay a week or two. The space Newly remodeled Alaska themed log home with private entrance and lawn. The room includes a King size bed, two different sitting areas inside, a full kitchen, a private indoor bathroom with new sink and toilet and antique claw foot tub (with its own Alaskan history). There is a TV and DVD player with DVD library, games, books, magazines, and local discounts for your enjoyment. Extra blankets and pillows are provided. Outside you will find a covered front porch with table, chairs, and bench to enjoy. On the sunny side deck we have more outdoor furniture. There is a side lawn with grass. -Fabulous restaurants, food trucks, food stands and cafes to enjoy for every budget near by! **No Wifi or cable** We kindly ask for No Smoking on property. We live next door and we enjoy Alaska fresh air! **Fall and Winter guests- We have a large open lawn which allows for wonderful nighttime sky views. See the auroras and the stars from the comfort of the deck! *We are 10 minutes from Downtown Talkeetna. *4 minutes from the Parks Hwy Our Log Home is near mile 4 marker of the Talkeetna (TKA) Spur Road. *5% Mat-Su Bed tax is included in my price! -45 minutes to Denali STATE Park - 2.5 hours to Denali National Park by car but a “must see” from the air! Guest access Enjoy the covered front porch, sunny side deck or private side lawn adjacent to the forest. The entire second floor of our log home is for your use and enjoyment. We only access the ground floor as needed for lawn and maintenance of the rental. Other things to note The lower level of this home is currently used for storage for this rental and lawn maintenance items. It has its own private entrance and will only be accessed as needed. A grocery store is conveniently located 4 miles away for all your needs. No wifi. We personally use local at&t cell tower for our internet. Wifi can be found in town at the Talkeetna Library. Wifi is not commonly found in small rentals in Alaska. A TV, DVD player, and DVDs are provided. We do not have cable and unfortunately, an antenna does not work in our location. A DVD kiosk is located at the grocery store 4 miles away. 5% Bed tax is included in price! We kindly ask for No Smoking on Property!
