Other things to note We have 3 friendly dogs. They usually stay at our house but they do follow us when we go to the cabin or walk around the property. To stay here it would be preferable that guests feel comfortable with dogs. On your arrival they bark and want to meet you, then they settle down. As this is an open cabin in the forest, and on a working farm, there will be a variety of wildlife. As the cabin is not hermetically sealed one may have birds, small lizards, insects and the occasional tree frog (3/4” 2cm) visit the cabin. We recommend that guests are comfortable with nature to fully enjoy their stay. There is a mosquito net over the bed. ***The Host's Washer Machine is available on the property a short walk from the cabin and can be used for a fee of US$ 5.00 per load. *** Camping on the property can be arranged if more space is desired for an additional fee. The quantity of campers and cost would be subject to what the host and guest agree on after detailed conversations. DOWASCO is the island's local water company. There are times that the water is locked off to clean the reservoir. Water can be provided from the tanks which are filled with water from the roof for bathroom, kitchen and general washing. In times like this please be advised to buy bottled water for drinking. The road to Trafalgar village passes below the cabin which is hidden by trees and shrubs. On occasion one can hear the traffic. Very early on a Wednesday morning the refuse truck collects the trash along the road which can be noisy.
