Large self-contained "cheap & cheerful" Guest-Wing at the 150-yr-old Old Aratapu School House not far from Dargaville, Te Kopuru & Glinks Gully. For longer bookings is better for just 1-10 guests. It's a particularly good set up for up to six workers needing mid-long term stays. BEDDING CONFIGURATIONS: > Standard Nightly Rates are based on two people sleeping in each of the Queen/Double beds. > A small Extra Bed and/or Extra Bedroom surcharge(s) can be payable for additional beds/bedrooms if Single occupancy is preferred for each bed. > A reminder there is the huge main upstairs bedroom with multiple beds. Plus a small Twin bedroom up a few stairs off from the huge main upstairs bedroom. Additionally, off the downstairs Lounge, is a conservatory that can act as a makeshift 3rd Bedroom with guest(s) sleeping on a couch(es). SPECIAL NOTE FOR LONGER-TERM 'WORKER GROUP' STAYS: When the reservation is for Worker Groups of several weeks/months, then a compulsory weekly Mini-Clean surcharge is payable to ensure a regular change of bed-sheets, and cleaning of the floors and bathroom. [Cost depends on the amount of Beds being used, but approx $100/week.] FRIENDLY REMINDERS: > This historic unrenovated Guest-Wing is roomy (approx 120sqm) brimming with odd quirks - and is probably not the right accommodation for anyone fussy. > This is an old guest-wing that has dated decor and amenities. Things are clean and simple but unable to be immaculately pristine. > Large executive desk in the huge upstairs main bedroom. OPTIONAL EXTRA: Adjoining is a gorgeous and elegant, fully-renovated Guest-Wing, that can accommodate 1-4 further guests in lavish opulence, as a Queen Bed, and a Sofa-Bed (large single / small double). The two guest-wings have double-doors able to interconnect, so you can end up with a huge circa 250sqm space incorporating 3-4 bedrooms, two kitchen-dining-lounges, and two office desks - excellent for large groups, and extended multi-generational families. Upstairs is one HUGE bedroom with multiple beds and large office desk, plus an adjoining smaller Twin bedroom. There is also a vast amount of free parking. Other things to note REMINDER - THE PLACE IS OLD! The decor is dated and quirky and not ideal for anyone fussy - please don't reserve this Guest-Wing if you require impeccability- it is too old to be immaculate. OUR COVID-19 PREVENTION DEEP-CLEANING PROTOCOLS • Contactless self-check-in using Key Lockboxes. • 24-Hour minimum gap between bookings. • No areas are shared between Guest Wings. • All rooms are ventilated before cleaning, and cleaning staff wear disposable gloves. • We clean to remove dirt, then disinfect to kill germs, with a strong focus on all frequently touched surfaces (eg light switches, door-knobs, remote-control, sink-taps, wash3er & dryer controls, lockbox keypad, hand-rails, kitchen appliances, kitchen condiments, kitchen/bathroom cabinet handles, etc), and vacuum cleaner emptied between guests. • All bedroom Linen and bathroom Towels are washed at the highest heat seating recommended by their manufacturer. • Supplies provided for guests of antibacterial hand soap, paper towels & tissues.
