This is not an off-road cabin - it is a gravel road. I make it just fine in my Chevy sedan without a 4wheel drive. Drive slow. This is my home, I live here full-time when it is not rented out. I love living here and want to share that joy with everyone. Rare combination of privacy and convenience to Mountain View, Blanchard Springs, The Ozark Folk Center, National Forests, and trout fishing are all just a heartbeat away. Just minutes from everything you could desire. During season, there are many birds that visit our feeders, including hummingbirds - watch and identify them with provided binoculars and our Birds of Arkansas book. BYO-Charcoal grill by the garden bed or hang out in the hammock area for a nice relaxing getaway. Living room is set up for rainy days as well. We provide a small selection of books to enjoy by the fireplace. Enjoy one of the board games, card games, or puzzles we have on the shelves. High Speed Fiber Internet NO BASIC CABLE, but all TVs are SmartTVs so you can stream from your favorite app. All TVs besides bedroom can stream directly from phone to TV. Downstairs living room has many DVDs to choose from. Upstairs loft area is set up with projector and Dolby Digital audio for a night at the "theater." Up the hill from the Swinging Bridge, the Trailhead for the North Sylamore Creek Trail, and around the corner from the Syllamo Mountain Bike Trail. You can grab a drink with dinner at Anglers Restaurant (2 miles away) before calling it a day. If you plan on doing anything outdoors, be sure to bring bug spray. This is Arkansas - there's ticks and mosquitoes outside. The county is dry, so no buying booze from the Walmart in town. Angler's is the only restaurant that serves alcohol with food. Blanchard Liquor isn't very far if you need to get beer, wine or liquor. ‐---------- Price listed is base pricing for 2 guests. Each additional guest is $15 per night. Maximum of 4 guests allowed to stay at property. There are 2 security cameras. They're facing the driveway entry and exit. They only face parts visible from the street. Patio is fully private. Guest access Guest has access to whole property. Does not include crawl space under house, labeled utility closet upstairs, and locked cabinet in kitchen. Other things to note *No refunds for inclement weather *We do not charge a cleaning fee. We just ask that you clean up after yourselves and leave the cabin as you found it. *$100 cleaning fee for smoking inside the cabin. Smoke outside & throw away your butts. *No hunting on the property *No littering - Toss your cigarette butts in the trash. Not in fire pit either, please. $25 for every cigarette butt found flicked outside. *Bring your own firewood! Wood that supports Veterans can be purchased in town at Harps. *Be courteous of neighbors. *Do not toss out food scraps of any sort. This will attract pests and animals. *Sorry, no minors on property (18+ only) CHILDREN NOT ALLOWED *NO PETS *You are staying at a cabin in nature. There may be wildlife - please do not harm anything. *Please note - for stays longer than 4 days, someone might need to come out to water all the plants. No entry necessary, but will need to go on porch to water. This is not always the case, only if it's really hot and days without rain. *Price listed is base pricing for 2 guests.
