Nestled among the pines along the wooded shoreline of Lake Flower, Saddleback offers privacy and a feeling of being in the woods, yet is only one mile from the village of Saranac Lake. Rented space consists of 5 bedrooms, 3½ baths. Main floor has spacious living room with fireplace, dining area, family room with smart tv, gourmet kitchen, 1/2 bath, laundry. Third floor consists of master bedroom with king bed, tv & electric fireplace, private bath with large tub and shower. Two additional bedrooms share another full bath. Lower level has large living area with pool table, smart tv, bar, and gas fireplace, small full kitchen, dining area, one full bath, and two additional bedrooms The house has two outdoor decks overlooking the lake - one on the main level with outdoor gas barbecue grill and one on the lower level with hot tub and a charcoal grill. Both have outdoor furniture to enjoy the fresh Adirondack air year round. The Upper two floors may be rented ( 3 bedrooms/ 2½ baths) at a discounted rate for smaller groups. Owner has an office in the house with a private entrance, accessed only on occasion, no interference with guests’ privacy as owner does not work in the office when the home is occupied. Owner is available by cell phone throughout guests’ visit. A second phone is provided in event of emergency or owner is not immediately available. We offer self check in and request guests notify us of their arrival so we may answer any questions they may have. The house is nestled among the trees, providing a private wooded feeling. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area located just one mile from the village. Public transportation is limited, but Taxi and Uber are available. Prior arrangements are suggested when relying on one of these. 4WD vehicles are recommended. Harbor Hill Lane is a steep hill which is plowed and sanded, but in winter, snowfall can occur at any time and may cause slippery conditions. Parking is directly in front of the entrance to the house. Proper footwear is necessary at all times. Pets are welcome when guests are agreeable to our Pet Policy.We are pleased to welcome your dog under the following conditions: 1) He/She is not left in the cottage alone unless kenneled AND prior arrangements are made. 2) You clean up after him/her when you walk him/her on the property. 3) He/She must be leashed at all times while on the property. 4) He/She must not be on furniture. Dog hair found on furniture will result in additional cleaning fee or loss of Security Deposit. 5) A Security Deposit will be required 6) A charge of $50 will be charged for each dog if more than one (prior approval of owner required for more than one dog.)
