The cottage features a master bedroom with antique four-poster bed, TV and countryside views, a twin bedroom, and a limestone bathroom with underfloor heating. The spacious beamed sitting room has a cosy log-burning stove (first basket of logs provided), a huge comfortable sofa, armchairs, TV, and a French armoire filled with books, games and DVDs. The well-equipped kitchen/dining room overlooks the gardens and outdoor heated swimming pool (open June–August). It includes a dishwasher, Smeg fridge/freezer, Delonghi bean-to-cup coffee machine, and all essentials (tea, coffee, basics provided). Guests enjoy five acres of gardens and orchards, plus exclusive use of the outdoor heated pool in summer, with terrace, four-poster loungers, dining area and wood-burning BBQ/heater. Other things to note Swallows Cottage has been running for over 15 years now...we've had some fabulous reviews. We lived in the Cottage when we were doing the house up so have made sure there are plenty of home comforts - excellent quality pure white cotton bedlinen and a few special things, such as a Delonghi bean-to-cup coffee machine, and plenty of kitchen essentials. There is a huge 5 acre garden where you can play croquet and a charming Wendy House - plus plenty of wonderful walks locally.
