We have just recently reconstructed the attic in our house into studio apartments. The space has a new bed and a sofa that can be changed into a cozy bed for 1 if you need. Its a beautiful, recently redone loft with spectacular view - there is a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. The space has a bed for 2 and a sofa that can be made into a bed for 1 additional guests if needed. The apartment is located on our farm, Frostastaðir - it is a beautiful farm with both rivers and mountains where you are welcome to go hiking or exploring. We have sheep and horses. Enjoy the peaceful nature and the beautiful view of the valley. You will have your apartment to yourself so interaction with us or other guests is totally optional, we are always ready for a chat but if you are in a more quiet mood that is also fine of course, however you prefer - just feel at home :) The view is amazing. Hiking in the mountains will give you an overview of the whole fjord which is wonderfully wide and beautiful. Enjoy peace and quiet in the amazing icelandic nature - watch birds and farm animals in a happy environment. The best way to get around in Iceland would be by car but if you are traveling by bus - the 57 goes through Varmahlíð on its rute from Akureyri-Reykjavik - we would happily pick you up there if you like.
