The two pets (under 40 lb) friendly cabin has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. We have 20 amp service to the cabin. Amenities include potable water, Flat Screen TV, hot and cold water cooler, induction stove, mini-frig, Keurig, dishware and utensils, propane outdoor grill, firepit, and picnic table. A clean porta-potty is a short walk from the cabin. An outdoor instant heat shower is available between Mid June - September. Harding Lake is within walking distance of the cabin. The cabin is 250 sq-ft, equipped with a queen bed and futon that can fold down to a full size bed. The deck has seating and barbecue grill. A picnic table and fire pit is also on site. Guest are provided an unique access code prior to thier arrival. Your privacy is our priority. You will be given an access code prior to your arrival. We provide a guest packet with our contact information should you need any assistance. 45 minutes from Fairbanks, 25 minutes from North Pole, and 20 minutes from EAFB. Chez Benz is located 1.5 miles off Richardson Highway. The Neighborhood consists of Harding Lake State Recreation Area. Visitors during the summer boat & fish. In winter ice fish & snow machine. Year round hiking. Walk to the to the campground o visit friends. Boat launch is 1/3 mile away. Launch and take your trailer back to the cabin. We ask to limit pets to 2 under 40 lbs each, unless pre-approved in advance. There is no shower access in the winter season. Washcloths and towels are provided for washing like many Alaskens with no shower Access. North Pole laundry, Military Bases and Planet Fitness has pay or membership shower access. We currently do not offer boat, canoe, or kayak rentals.
