A cosy Gipsy Wagon by the lake

Declared "2nd in the world as a travel destination" by National Geographic and the "world’s most scenic island" by Conde Nast, visit us in Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton masterpiece where our little cosy Gipsy wagon sits in the middle of all this beauty. Our gipsy wagon is for the adventures traveler who does not mind chairing the bathroom and the kitchen. Please keep in mind that we are living in the cottage next to the gipsy wagon. The space Our property is embedded in nature where you can watch wildlife, swim in the lake (during the summer). Kayaking or walking the nearby beaches is also a possebility. If you are looking for something special and unique you have to book the little wagon. The Gypsy wagon sleeps two people and there is some room for your private things. The wagon has electricity. However your shared bathroom is in the main cottage where you have access to the main area too. That means you are welcome to use the kitchen and living area , the sunroom and the deck facing the lake. As mentioned before you are also welcome to use our two kajaks and have a swim in the lake. It is also possible to book an extra bedroom with private bath and let the kids have the Gipsy wagon. Just ask us what's possible. You can visit Sydney or the Fortress of Louisbourg (1/2 hour drive) go to Baddeck and sail with an old sail ship or you take a trip to the Highlands. Be prepared to be awed by the spectacular beauty of this region as you travel the northern tip of Cape Breton . Keep an eye out for marine life frolicking in the water (wale watching), and land wildlife such as Moose, bear, bobcat, coyote and fox. The possibilities are endless. The licensed Riverbank Restaurant offers Canadian-& European Cuisine and is only a 20 minute drive away as is the little village Marion Bridge where you can do your grocery shopping. If you are looking for a peaceful , unique and tasteful setting to relax we have the place you have to go to. We are looking forward to welcome you in our little paradise. Once in a while my husband and I are staying at the property too. We decided to offer our Gipsy wagon during those weeks do to the many requests we get.
