5 Bedroom Ski In/Out Chalet with Spectacular Sun-Kissed Mountain Views -1 min walk to slopes, 30 seconds ski/board down to gondola -5 min walk to grocery store, liquor store, Starbucks, bank, and Dusty's Pub (live music & tons of outdoor seating) The space Important - Please Read A) Tucked away in a small exclusive slope-side neighborhood adjacent to Creekside Gondola, groups choose our chalet for tranquility, privacy and immediate access to the slopes rather than a spot to party. Guests should enjoy themselves but must act responsibly towards neighbors as well as visitors that might be in other parts of the chalet. Disturbing noise after 11pm and smoking are strictly prohibited for everyone’s mutual benefit and will result in forfeiture of the security deposit. B) Please note there is a self-contained suite on the lower level that is EXCLUDED from the rental. It is used by friends and family and is generally NOT available for rental so it is NOT included in the description below. C) Most of the winter season has a 3 or 4 night minimum for advance bookings. If only 2 nights are required, this is possible but the nightly rate may be higher than indicated below. Peak holiday periods during snow season often require a minimum rental of 5-7 nights. Basic Description This ski in / ski out property boasts first class mountain views. Savor every moment of your stay from the privacy of your own mountain home – not a condo, duplex or townhouse. This unique property affords direct views of Whistler Peak and is drenched in sunlight all day. If your vacation is about the snow, you won’t find a better location than Snowridge Crescent. Walk one minute to the slope and ski down to Creekside Gondola in another 30 seconds. Drop the kids off at ski school and get a head start on your powder day by avoiding the longer queues of mountain access from the main Village. Your afternoon and evening are just as convenient as the morning, with all the conveniences of Creekside a 5 minute walk away. The centerpiece of this home is a living room filled with natural light from three exposures and crowned with a large deck and wood burning fireplace. The large kitchen allows ample space for multiple people to work together on meal preparation and a separate dining room with windows on three sides keeps nature close at hand. The spacious upstairs master bedroom contains a king bed and day bed with spectacular views to the Callaghan Valley. The master bath contains a large soaker tub and a separate large walk-in shower. The second bedroom upstairs contains a queen bed and is perched atop the front of the house and benefits from 180 degree views with windows on all three sides. The smaller third bedroom located upstairs is ideally suited for children as it has a sloped ceiling, no windows and a single bed. The fourth bedroom is on the main floor and contains a double bunk over a double bunk, and is next door to the half bath. The lower floor contains a newly built second master bedroom that is above ground with good light and a private balcony 19 feet across. This area covers almost 400 sq. ft and contains a queen bed, two pullout twin-size chair sofa-beds, and separate bathroom with large walk-in shower. Why Creekside Village? Creekside is the original base of Whistler with a history dating back to the mountain’s first gondola in 1966. It’s a special location bounded by the mountain on one side and two small lakes (Alpha & Nita) on the other side, which are about a ten minute walk. One day you après to great live music at Dusty’s Bar & Grill located at the base of the Creekside gondola while the next day finds you sipping a Bailey’s Irish coffee next to the roaring fireplace at Nita Lake Lodge. On the nights you prefer to eat out, Creekside has it all from family friendly venues to fine dining (see below). We also have our own supermarket, liquor store, and bank. The larger busy main Village is only 5 km / 3 miles away. Whistler runs a large children’s Snow School out of Creekside along with a full service Guest Relations department. A large Can-Ski shop is located next door for year round equipment rentals of bikes, skis and boards. If Fido isn’t feeling well whilst in Whistler, there are also two veterinary clinics in Creekside. A newly built BMX course can be found 10 minutes drive south in Cheakamus for those after some air and speed on an outdoor dirt track. Creekside benefits from less traffic because it is closer to Vancouver than the main Village. This will save time if you plan to arrive or depart at peak travel hours as you avoid a busy road leading out of the main Village. The main service station is also conveniently located in Creekside if you need to refuel before driving back. Public buses and cabs run frequently throughout the day and night between Creekside and the main Village so it’s easy to leave the car parked and enjoy an extra nightcap. Creekside Dining Options (5-15 min walk) Café's -Fix Café located in Nita Lake Lodge is a quaint café and deli serving specialty coffees, freshly baked bread, pastries, and sandwiches. -Starbucks Coffee located in the Franz’s Trail shopping complex serves its timeless menu of coffee, pasties and sandwiches. -Tim Horton’s is as Canadian as maple syrup when it comes to premium coffee, baked goods, soups, and wraps. It’s conveniently located just off Highway 99 at the turn-off for London Lane. BBQ & Apres -Dusty’s Bar & BBQ has been a favorite among locals for both its après drinks in the winter and its patio drinks in the summer. The menu features excellent barbecue cuisine, and in the evening the restaurant plays host to a vibrant rock scene. -Roland’s Pub prides itself on treating everyone like a local. It’s a relaxed spot with nine screens to watch the latest sports while having a beer and burger.
