Herdsman Hut - Pod on a working farm

Perched on the hillside of a working farm, Herdsman Hut is a new and modern Glamping Pod complete with underfloor heating, mains electricity and facilities plus stunning views overlooking Underbarrow and further to Scout Scar. Situated within the Lake District National Park, High Gregg Hall Farm in Underbarrow is just a 15-minutes drive from Windermere and 10-minutes from Kendal. A 5-minute walk away is the popular Black Labrador Pub, which offers fantastic food and a great choice of ales. The space The 1-bedroom Glamping Pod is a stunning option for a relaxing or perhaps a romantic getaway from the busy town or city life. After a day out exploring the Lake District of walking on the fells, return to relax on the patio with a glass of wine, or perhaps a BBQ New for summer 2023 is a woodfired hot tub. The Herdsman Hut has been expertly built to provide high-quality furnishings and fittings that will provide for a fantastic stay. Double Bed with fabulously comfy pillows, shelf storage and USB sockets for charging devices. Sitting area with an L-shaped sofa, one of which lifts for additional storage, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with FreeSat. Dining area for two. Kitchen area with, Belfast-sink and mains water, 2-ring induction hob, microwave, Nespresso Coffee Machine, kettle, toaster and a fridge with freezer compartment. Bathroom with basin and vanity cupboards, toilet, heated towel rail and a shower cubicle. Guest access The Pod is situated on a working dairy farm. Guests have exclusive use of the Pod, but access to the dairy or farmlands is not permitted without being escorted by the Farmer, so please do speak to them if you would like to have a tour. Other things to note The rental price includes bed linen, towels and robes as well a complimentary tea, coffee, coffee pods, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Short breaks are available throughout the year, subject to a minimum of a two-night stay. A travel cot can be provided if required. One well-behaved dog is welcome for an additional cost of £25.00 per stay. Additional dogs by arrangement. Please note that dogs must not be left unattended or permitted on the furniture. You must also please remove and properly dispose of all dog waste. Any mess or damage left may result in further charges. Currently, there is no Wifi, but this will be installed soon. there is a good 4G mobile signal.
