The space OVERVIEW The newly renovated Hummingbird Oceanview Retreat is a spacious, contemporary, and fully air-conditioned luxury one bedroom apartment with a private covered outdoor gazebo. Tucked away in a more intimate corner of the iconic Columbus Heights hillside complex and surrounded by well-manicured gardens, this cozy unit is ideal for couples but can comfortably accommodate up to three guests. AMENITIES - keyless 24/7 entry - a queen-sized bed - a twin-sized daybed - AC unit and ceiling fan - large 43-inch Smart TV (w/250+ channels) - high-speed Internet with multiple USB outlets - private gazebo with amazing panoramic views - a dedicated workspace - iron and full-sized ironing board - bedroom closet and drawers for luggage and clothes - free parking (no decals / stickers required) - complimentary housekeeping for longer stays - access to six swimming pools - access to onsite gym (modest entrance fee) - onsite coin laundry - ....and more! The space includes a kitchenette (with refrigerator, microwave, two-burner cooktop, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle plus utensils and dishware) as well as a generously sized bathroom with double vanities and a shower/soaking tub, and many other comforts. Whether gazing at ships entering or leaving the port, or simply admiring the glow of the city lights, guests enjoy stunning picturesque views of the Caribbean Sea and Ocho Rios skyline from their private covered gazebo and from every window and door.  PROFESSIONAL CLEANING Hummingbird Retreat uses a professional deep cleaning and sanitization crew prior to each guest arrival. Guest may request complimentary cleaning after every 3rd night, or guests may opt to forego cleaning and instead request a replenishment of towels and other items. Guest access POOL AND GROUNDS Guests have access to the pool using a scenic walkway directly from the apartment, a super convenient benefit not available anywhere else on the complex. And if one pool is not enough, then guests can dip their toes in any of the five other pools. If a morning jog or an evening stroll is on the itinerary, then there are ample common areas to explore on the grounds and gardens of this complex. PARKING Ample, free parking is available for guests. SECURITY AND SAFETY Guests need not worry about safety as the complex has 24/7 gated entrance with security guard and nightly roaming security patrol. ACCESSIBILITY Due to several steps to and from the unit, it is recommended that guests with physical mobility challenges seek alternative accommodations outside of the Columbus Heights complex. This complex is not accessibility-friendly for those with mobility concerns.
