Villa Raffaelli is an original Tuscan villa from 1582. Let yourself be enchanted by this mansion which retains its ancient essence. Visit the green valley of the Garfagnana: a green area full of activities and attractions for everyone, located a few kilometers from Lucca, Pisa and not far from Florence. Relaxation, two swimming pools, breathtaking views, outdoor activities, romantic dinners or appetizing barbecues await just you, your family or your group of friends. The space The Property Villa Raffaelli (sleeps 12 + 2 additional beds for a total of max 14 guests) is a two-story residence featuring on the ground floor a bedroom with original frescoes and a dedicated bathroom with a bathtub. Also on the ground floor, you’ll find a cozy sitting and reading room stocked with maps and tourist information, a dining room with a functional fireplace, two kitchens (one equipped with a washing machine and ironing board), and a small service bathroom. The second floor hosts the game room. a game room with a secret garden, a library, six bedrooms accommodating ten guests, and four fully renovated bathrooms with showers. The lemon house and arch room offer a charming setting for candlelit dinners or cool al fresco garden lunches. Adjacent to this is a refreshing sitting room with some fitness equipment. Each room overlooks the garden and the Apuan Alps, with each room named after and scented with flowers from the villa’s garden. The rooms naturally remain cool without the need for air conditioning. The villa is fully fenced and suitable for hosting small to medium-sized pets. However, as a historic residence, it requires special care. Leonardo Area Rooms Rosa Bianca and Enchanted Garden: A triple room consisting of a master bedroom with a romantic 18th-century Lucca four-poster bed and a single room painted with floral trompe l’oeil. This suite includes a bathroom with a shower cabin equipped with hydromassage jets. Ortensia and Gelsomino: A quadruple room comprising a master bedroom with an alcove adorned with original stucco and coat of arms in soft blue toile de jouy shades, and a twin room with gilded ceiling stuccos and golden iron beds. This suite shares a bathroom with a bathtub accessible from the library corridor. Michelangelo Area Rooms Ciclamino: A double room featuring an 18th-century wooden four-poster bed with antique rose drapes and a non-functional 19th-century fireplace, along with a bathroom with a bathtub. Peonia: A single red room with an Empire-style wooden sleigh bed and a bathroom with a shower box. Ground Floor Room Fresco Room: A double room adorned with original frescoes likely dating from the 18th/19th century, featuring a stone bathroom with a freestanding bathtub. The Pools In the garden with Italian flower beds overlooking the Garfagnana landscape, you’ll find the transparent dome of the heated whirlpool, which can be used even in winter. Enjoy a toast under the stars while being caressed by bubbles. A stone staircase leads to the second level of the garden, where the brand new swimming pool (4.5 x 8 meters) is equipped with sunbeds and a gazebo. The property is fenced, ensuring absolute privacy. Other things to note Pets The villa is completely fenced and is suitable for hosting small/medium-sized animals, however, being a period residence it requires special attention.
