In the Winter, enjoy cross country skiing across the street and just 4 minutes to town and 7 minutes to Baldy and Dollar Mountain; this getaway provides the most unique and relaxing Sun Valley experience. In the summer, enjoy hiking, biking, and world renown fishing just steps away at the Bigwood River. The space The Chalet provides 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Located on the first level, the kitchen opens up to a beautiful and warm breakfast nook to enjoy your morning coffee and makes you feel like you are vacationing in Europe. From there, enjoy the open and spacious living room with a beautiful river rock fireplace to build your perfectly warm evening. Upstairs you will enjoy a closet full of your favorite board games and puzzles as well as a reading nook. The master bedroom with a king bed has a private bath with a large jacuzzi tub and "his and hers" sinks. A second king bedroom and crib is upstairs with a full bathroom right across the hall. Enjoy the outside balcony with views of Griffins Butte, and fall asleep to the sounds of the Bigwood River at night. This home has the BEST access to the outdoors. Just minutes from the ski lifts and Sun Valley resort. Walk to major trailheads and the Bigwood River for fishing. Guest access You have access to the entire home. We live in a cabin on the property with our old quiet and lazy labrador but are as "hands off" as it comes. We love camping and getting out of town while guests are here but can also be onsite to assist if needed.
