"UT's" is a spectacular newly refurbished apartment nestled in one of Hampstead's premier roads, just 10 minutes from the Village. Spacious rooms, a huge garden and off-street parking make UT's a rare find in London. Spread over 100sqm, UT's offers two double bedrooms, (one en-suite), a family bathroom, and a substantial open plan living area leading directly on to decking and a 25m long garden. Designer touches abound - from Swedish Moss and Slate lined walls to original parquet floors. The space "UT's" occupies the entire lower floor of a gated period Edwardian red brick building. Entering via a private entrance, stairs lead down to the light-filled large open plan living area. Guests are met by the view of expansive decking and gardens leading directly on from the sitting room. We've restored and kept the original parquet flooring covering the entire open plan space. There's a fully kitted out kitchen and breakfast bar, with amenities including a pop-up charger, Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave and blender etc. Towards the bay window, there's an upright piano (perfectly tuned), window seating and a full size dining table / work space. The rest is dedicated to comfortable sofas for relaxing in, within reach of the Samsung 4k Ultra HD smart TV, XBox and Bose sound system. Bedrooms and bathrooms are found a couple of steps up from the living area and have wooden flooring throughout. The master bedroom has garden views and a truly spectacular en-suite shower room. Clad in slate and stainless steel with a concrete lined sliding door, it features underfloor heating, a heated mirror unit and a mains fed thermostatic shower. Decorative touches include Swedish moss wall panels, butchers hooks for hanging towels on the graphite heated ladder, a floor to ceiling glass shower wall with a privacy curtain made from vintage coffee hessian sacks. The room is topped off by ample storage in two double fitted wardrobes, and bedside task lamps and USB charge points conveniently integrated in to the headboard. The second bedroom is big enough to be configured as two singles or a kingsize double. There's ample hanging and drawer storage to be found recessed behind a door in the rear wall of the bedroom. The family bathroom features a sink hewn out of granite, stainless steel counters, mosaic recesses plus ample storage space, under-tile heating, a heated towel rail and bath with a thermostatic shower diverter. The large south west facing garden is perfect for outdoor relaxation and dining in the summer months. There's plenty of space for guests, a table tennis table, hammock and the choice of charcoal or gas BBQs. With the garden comes with the sound of an owl at night, bats circling at dusk, and our pretty much daily visitor - Foxy Loxy often with Magpie, her devoted wingman. It's hard to believe that the privacy, peace and space found at UT's is actually in London, just 3 miles (16 mins) to Baker street, 4 miles to Kings Cross, 5 miles to Oxford Street and 6 miles to Soho. Guest access "UT's" is equally moments from Hampstead Village and Hampstead Heath. Hampstead Tube (Northern Line) is an 11 minute walk, whilst buses directly to the West End can be found down the road. Off-street parking is available to guests, on the gated forecourt. Those with electric cars have the added convenience of being able to use our electric car charging point.
